Phase 2: Cautious, Step 1 - Industry Specific Guidelines


Today June 8th begins Phase 2: Cautious, Step 1. This phase will allow additional businesses to re-open and activities with new restrictions and limitations . The business included are retail, dining, hotels/lodging and more! For more guidance regarding specifics to your industry, please visit the links below.

Driving and Flight Schools: Currently holding online classroom instruction to including behind-the-wheel training.

Golf Facilities (outdoor activity only): Indoor activities are not currently able to re-open until Phase 3.

Operators of Lodgings: Currently open for essential employees transitioning to serve other guests with specific conditions.

Restaurants: Continue with providing customers with takeout and delivery. In addition they are able to open to the public for outdoor seating with limitations.

** Beer gardens/ breweries/wineries/distilleries who provide seated food can follow under retail food permits by municipal authorities**


Retail Stores (including stores in malls): Transitioning from only curbside service and pickup only to allowing customer to browse inside the store with restrictions

Additional Industries:

  • Home installations non construction related (carpets installation, security system, etc )

  • Auto dealers and wholesalers transitioning from, curbside pickup and delivery only to browsing inside the showroom with specific state guidelines. Please follow retail business protocol.

  • Casinos with hotel and restaurants attached should follow the section for each industry guideline

  • Personal services that do not entail personal close personal contact (photography, window washers, career coaching, etc)

As the public health trend continues to move in the right direction we will notice more businesses will be able to serve their clients and advance to the next phase. Phase 2, Step 2 includes Close Contact Personal Services such as hair removal services, massage, nail care service, makeup salons, personal trainers, tanning salons and more! Although a date has not been determined as of yet, please see the links below.
